Lets Talk: Captain America: Winter Soldier

Five Actresses Up for Captain America 2

Plus, Black Widow is expected to return in the sequel.

We all know Steve Rogers never got that dance with Peggy Carter, but it looks like he's going to get another shot at romance with today's news that Marvel is testing five different actresses for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The sequel's directors Joe and Anthony Russo have one of those good old-fashioned short lists for what Deadline is calling "a significant new role." The site isn't clear on who the character these ladies are testing for is, but the five in the running are Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Downton Abbey's Jessica Brown Findlay, I Am Number Four's Teresa Palmer, Fright Night's Imogen Poots and Community's Alison Brie. Brie, it should be noted, also worked with the Brothers Russo on Community.

The site adds that Scarlett Johansson will also show up in the film as Black Widow, which has been rumored in the past. And of course, anyone who knows the Winter Soldier story from the comics will understand why she's a logical player to appear here.
But who are these actresses auditioning for? Sharon Carter seems a logical choice -- the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and niece/descendent/relative of Peggy who Cap rather creepily gets involved with. But comment below with your own guesses!
